TESOL International Film & Art Exhibit 2018

About:

The TESOL International Film and Art Exhibit was founded by Marisol Santana in 2010. One evening, Marisol was performing live music in an Argentinian Bakery in West New York, New Jersey where she was also exhibiting some of her own paintings and photography. She was approached by a customer, the owner of TESOL International, a global institution who invited Marisol to produce a similar show in his Midtown Manhattan headquarters. The combination of her multimedia arts and theatre education background and the global nature of TESOL brought forth the manifestation of a multicultural film and art exhibit which as occurred during the past eight years in NYC (2010-2013),  at Nouvel Organon gallery in Montmartre, Paris (2012, 2013), and this year, 2018 in Florence, Italy. The mission of the exhibit is to showcase an assortment of well-known and emerging artists and filmmakers from different cultures, many who have later achieved international acclaim and have received prestigious awards in their fields from Cannes and Sundance.
